Mrs. Michelle Lasch
Mrs. Michelle Lasch graduated from California State University of Fullerton with a BA in Communications. After working in the field of graphic design for several years, Mrs. Lasch became a full-time stay-at-home mom, eventually homeschooling her daughters Classically for ten years. Upon their high school graduations, she began teaching in the classroom. She has taught humanities courses at Veritas and Cary Christian School in North Carolina. She has a passion for Classical education knowing its propensity to develop the whole person into fully formed humans. She loves reading and is on a continual journey to give herself the Classical education she did not receive growing up. One of her favorite verses is Jeremiah 12:5 “If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses?” To her this sums up the purpose of Classical education: to prepare students for the challenges God has planned.
“I love teaching at a Classical school because everyday I can approach my students knowing they were made for another world. Therefore, we must study the things in which are eternal: The good, true, and beautiful”
“If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.” -C.S. Lewis quote
