Student Intervention Program is a service provided by the school to identify students who are struggling in one or more subjects, and to create a Student Support Plan in consultation with the parents and respective teachers, with the accountability structure that consists of the Student Intervention Coordinator, parents, teachers, and possibly the headmaster.
The goal of the program is to:
1) Help students to develop a healthy habit of study by the creation of accountability structure, so that they can reach the expected goals of the class/es.
2) Provide accurate assessment of student’s progress in a class in order to develop accommodation strategies to help the student to improve in class.
3) Provide academic and biblical counseling to motivate and encourage the student, and as needed, family counseling, to provide a greater level of support structure.
